Jody and I went to Puerto Vallarta this summer vacation-j-s.jpg (93910 bytes) with our friends (and now next door neighbors) Norma and Trevor vacation05-t-n.jpg (65009 bytes). We made it at 3:00 and had time to check in, unpack, and then walk the beach to see the sunset vacation-sunset2.jpg (108738 bytes) vacation-sunset.jpg (99142 bytes). The next morning we went on a city tour and saw some of the beautiful churches vacation05-church.jpg (91464 bytes), haggled with a guy for an Aztec calendar (Jody had to give the guy his Wal-Mart watch to seal the deal) vacation05-calendar.jpg (95253 bytes), and had lunch in the mountains vacation-lunch.jpg (209098 bytes). We spent four nights and five days (maybe a day too long for us) and it was just as hot and humid there as it was in Houston. Next year, we're going somewhere where it is 70 degrees!
